If you're looking for traditional support or ideas on how to cope with this terrible affliction then, um, this may not be the place for you. We're here to explode some of those media notions that being blind is some kind of living death, a mystical twilight state or a call to bravely climb mountains.

Saturday 5 May, 2007 -- It has taken me a couple of weeks but I've written a blog entry about the day of Sara's funeral on April 20. Apologies for the delay it was a little hard to write. Keep coming back to BlindKiss, enjoy the talk shows and lets see what we can't do to move the website forward as Sara would have wanted. Email me damon.rose@btinternet.com with any comments or ideas. Saturday 14 April, 2007 -- I seem to be building an impromptu archive of audio featuring Sara. BRING IT ON! IF anyone has any audio or video that I might not have, drop me an email. Thanks to Terry Clasper of T&T Consultancy, I've now got copies of 3 interviews and discussions with Sara from the Infotech audio magazine, talking about the technology she worked with at Blazie. She was passionate about technology and accessibility and it comes across here. Take a listen:
Infotech: August 2006 Friday 13 April, 2007 -- Next Tuesday's In Touch programme on Radio 4 will be featuring a piece about Sara, including previous clips of her appearing on the long-running BBC radio programme for visually impaired people. I say Tuesday, I think it's rather dependent on whether or not I can keep it together when recording a few words Monday. Wish me luck x. You can listen to the show liv from the above link at 8:40PM UK time or archived there for some weeks after. Sara we're thinking about you and missing you. Wednesday 11 April, 2007 -- I've written an entry about Sara and her life on my blog. Read it here: Sara Morgan 1972 - 2007. Leave comments if you can. Read Sara's profile - Sara put together a page of things she loves and hates. It's a couple of years out of date now but no matter. One of the last things Sara did was to re-design the Blazie website from top to bottom. She thought about it a lot and put in many hours on it. Go and read it, it's her handywork. Thanks to all at Blazie, our thoughts are with you too. Tuesday 10 April, 2007 -- It is with great sadness that I must pass on the news that my fellow talkshow host Sara Morgan died in her sleep on 5 April 2007. I can barely believe I'm writing this. She was 34 years old and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and deepest sympathies go to her family and those who loved her. She was the greatest friend anyone could have had. Her passing has left a very big hole in my life. All the talk shows we ever did are still here to listen to on the BlindKiss website. She loved doing the shows and, judging by the hundreds of emails we received, you loved listening to her. She was very intelligent, witty and caring and she gave up hours of her time to do something she believed in: not just a silly talk show but a project that she hoped was bursting with the right kind of positivity about sight loss and the wortwhile culture and lifestyle that comes of being blind. There's about 24 hours worth of audio on this site featuring Sara. Go take a listen and, when you're feeling up to it, toast to her life with a glass of her favourite drink - champagne (she had expensive tastes). If you have any ideas on how we might celebrate her life, or if you want to pass on condolences or memories of Sara, please email them directly to me damon.rose@btinternet.com ... but in the meantime Sara wherever you are now, we love you and won't forget you in a hurry.
