Books before we die! This section of BlindKiss is dedicated to the issue of access to books. BlindKiss supports the Right to Read campaign from RNIB and partner organisations - calling on government, publishers, booksellers and libraries to play their part and deliver the Right to Read. Right to Read week starts 20 October 2003 - we urge you to give it your full support. Go to their website for the latest info on their survey asking for details on your experiences of getting books (for leisure, work or study), we urge you to write in to campaign@rnib.org.uk and take part. Tell us about books you've read lately If you have just read an accessible book in any format (commercial tape or CD, RNIB Talking Book, Calibre, Braille, large print, illegal text download, etc) then email us, tell us what you thought of it and give us details on how to get it - we'll publish them here on BlindKiss. Also tell us if you have scanned texts you're willing to share! (confidentiality assured) Latest accessible books Heligoland by Sheena Mackay, The Wee free men by Terry Pratchett, Scott Free by John Gilstrap are some of the latest books on sale from Isis Publishing, who specialise in producing unabridged audio books on CD or cassette.
