In short, the theory goes like this: Blind people make better lovers, yes, we're talking about sex here! Where do I get this from? Well, quite apart from a nod towards personal vanity, it sort of makes sense.
We know that sex is a very touchy feely thing. We know that blind people are pretty touchy feely too. Now I know enough about logic to realise that it doesn't necessarily follow that blind people excel in the sexual arena, but there is some sort of correlation here right? And there's more!
Now my own personal experience is only with men, (although, obviously, it'd be foolish to rule out anything for the future!) And it's pretty well known that men, sighted men, get turned on by the visuals, which is why the porn industry is so huge. But, the thing is, many women just don't like being gazed at - it makes them feel a little uncomfortable, self-conscious. Of course, we like to be noticed, we like to be told we're looking sensational, but when it comes to sex, most women, and most men too would take being touched over being looked at any day of the week!
And here, certainly, is where us blindies come into our own!
Now, I can sense that there are some of you out there who are feeling a little unsure of yourselves right now! You're wondering how much of my theory applies to you. Yes, I'm talking about the partials! And, well, I think I'll take the middle road here - Yes, you're probably more touchy feely than most, (even if you wouldn't always like to admit it),so it applies!
I'm not saying that the answer to all your problems, the road to ultimate sexual fulfilment, can be achieved if you'll only just go out and grab yourself a blind girl/boy, (well, actually, I am saying that), but there are various things to consider.
Are you ready for the kissing game? OK, so you're a blind man, your sitting next to the woman of your dreams, and you want to kiss her, then it goes something like this...
You have your arm around her, so you know, vaguely, where her head is. You move in. Ouch, bumped noses, left a bit, down a bit - GOAL! You're so hungry for the kiss that you almost shout it out! Now, you could look at this as terribly embarrassing or you can look at it as kinda cute and endearing, but one thing's for sure… If you can just go with it, the rest will be incredible!
